Terms of use
By making a booking you agree to abide to the following terms. Locksters Pool Camping reserve the right to refuse entry or terminate a booking at any time prior or during a stay to any people or groups who are in breach of these conditions.
Booking & Payment:
Please confirm that you have a firm booking before making any payment. For BACS payments ensure it references the person who is making the booking with surname and initial.
We will accept 50% deposit for advanced bookings with full cleared payment one week before arrival. If full payment for a booking is not made by its due date we will place the pitch as available for other parties and your deposit and pitch will be lost. All other bookings must be paid in full prior to or on arrival. Deposits are not returnable.
Check in / out:
Please check in between 3pm and 8pm and check out by 12pm unless otherwise arranged.
Access:
The lanes from Clifford village and Priory Wood are narrow, there are ramblers, dog walkers and horse riders on the lane; bear this in mind as you pass along. Also note the passing places there are to let another vehicle through and be prepared to reverse to the nearest one. It is only just over a mile from the village and even at a sedate 20mph this only takes 5 minutes.
Pitches:
Pitches are allocated on arrival. If your stay is longer than 4 days we will ask you to relocate your tent to preserve the grass and enable it to recover.
The Farm:
As you pass through the farm, either on foot or in a vehicle, please close all gates after you. Locksters is a working farm and there is livestock in the fields and often in the farm buildings. Please keep out of the farm buildings and any planted crops. Avoid the livestock if possible. Yvonne will let you know where you are free to walk, including ways to access the Hereford Trail and Wye Valley walk.
Fishing:
There is no fishing allowed from the camp site.
Noise:
Please keep noise to a minimum so that other campers can enjoy the area. No generators. No amplified music or radios etc. after 10pm.
Fires:
Only light fires where shown and only use wood provided by us. The wood we provide is checked thoroughly for metal and sourced from fallen trees and trimmings on the farm. Please do not scavenge for wood or damage any trees and bushes. Note that the banks of the River Wye are a S.S.S.I. and protected under law, removing or damaging plants or stones is a fineable offence.
